5 LUXURY LABOR DAY GETAWAY IDEASsuperadmin
No matter how much we feared it, the end of summer is here. Labor Day is technically the last weekend in the season and the last opportunity for you to enjoy the perks of summer. So what better way to say goodbye to our favorite season than to choose a perfect destination for your Labor Day getaway?
We’ve put some thought into it and chose five places we think are the best choice for this year’s luxury Labor Day weekend.
In Las Vegas, we don’t really need an excuse to party. But when you’ve got a more than 100-year-old federal holiday that was created to celebrate American workers, what can you do but use it as a chance to let those workers go crazy? With the crazy awesome shows, entertainment and amazing parties we’ve got going on for Labor Day 2017. Vegas s always the place to be, but if you are looking for luxury, fun, weekend break it is the place to be! Having a concierge is highly recommended, due to the enormus amount of people coming during this weekend, but Rodeo Concierge can get you access everywhere !
- If you are looking for sea and sun, pool and party there is no better place than Miami. Historical significance aside, in Miami, Labor Day weekend means pool parties. While it’s hot enough down here year-round to rightfully pull out our bikinis or swimsuits, by September the full weight of summer is hanging over our sweaty heads, and the only reasonable thing to do is to cannonball into a body of water with an adult beverage in hand.
- Nantucket, Massachusetts
About 30 miles by ferry south from Cape Cod, Nantucket is an island and one of the favorite tourist destinations in the state of Massachusetts. Nantucket was, in 1966, designated a National Historic Landmark District, for being the “finest surviving architectural and environmental example of a late 18th– and early 19th-century New England seaport town.” But apart from its amazing history, this tiny island is rich with dreamy beaches, restaurants serving up amazing fresh seafood, and cute boutiques if you can’t imagine a vacation without at least one shopping spree.
4 Desert Hot Springs, California
If you’re looking for a really unique getaway, Two Bunch Palms, a resort with its own source of mineral water, is definitely something you should check out. It offers newly renovated rooms, and even 13 suites with outdoor patios. Wellness Spa has 19 treatment rooms, water therapy pools with healing waters, and mud baths. Enjoying outdoor massage is definitely a memorable way to say goodbye to the summer.
5. Aspen, Colorado
- When you hear someone mention Aspen, you immediately think about winter and skiing, right? However, this upscale ski resort town is something else during the summer. As luck should have it, you’ll easily find a room for the Labor Day weekend at the two of the area’s most luxurious properties: The Little Nell and The St. Regis Aspen. While you’re there, make sure not to miss Ajax Tavern’s 6th Annual Rocky Mountain Oyster Festival and Jazz Aspen Snowmass music festival.
